CONCEPT PORTRAITS

Princesses of My Childhood
The photos above were captured for a Color Photo class during my Junior year of undergrad. My classmates and I were given several options and I chose the prompt that centered around childhood influences. For me, Disney Princesses offer many admirable characteristics, so I chose four that personally inspired my childhood and life today. The photo on the top left represents Cinderella and her kindness, compassion, and hopeful spirit despite adversity. The photo on the top right represents Belle and her selflessness, love for adventure, and independence. The photo on the bottom left represents Mulan and her self-sacrificing nature, bravery, and clever mind. The photo on the bottom right represents Tiana and her determination, perseverance, and creative visionariness. For each individual photo, I chose colors that represent the characteristics of each princess. I also created the flower crowns with flowers that represented each characteristic as well. This project allowed me to combine several passions of mine including Disney, crafting, and photography. You can even catch a self-portrait on the bottom right!

Wrapped in Christmas
This Christmas themed project allowed me to explore fun ideas that truly wrapped the models in Christmas. I enjoyed being able to dive into this magical time of year!
